September call-ups begin

From a pair of entries on New York Daily News Yankee writer Mark Feinsand's 'Twitter' page.

Yankees have called up INF Ramiro Pena, C Francisco Cervelli, RHP Edwar Ramirez, LHP Mike Dunn and RHP Mark Melancon... Shelley Duncan and Austin Jackson will likely be called up when Scranton's season is over. The Yankees have no real need for them right now.

I think

the Yankees made the right moves, all though I expected to see a couple more pitchers.

Austin Jackson

Id like to see him play a game or two, once we have locked up the division and are giving guys rest.

Dont get down on Forrest, no one has moves like Anderson Silva.

Nice. Hadn’t seen that yet.
It tells me that Cash probably made the right move making AJax untouchable at the trade deadline.

are we threading the game on this one or the newer blog?

Don't let your fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

Hate this

It stretches out poorly used bullpens on teams the yanks might see in the playoffs.Instead of facing a dead bullpen that was used wrong or over extended just to get there, you have to face them in alot better shape because of call ups.I have heard all the arguments either way and I still do not like it.Even when Torre was wearing ours out.Playoff games often come down to bullpen matchups.
