Don't get too down re: Montero's injury

A fractured finger is far from any kind of a long-term injury (like a leg or arm). His expected recovery time is 4-6 weeks, and that's because the Yankees will be extra cautious with their most precious prospect.

He still may play in the Arizona Fall League, which begins in October (h/t to RAB). Phil Hughes, Austin Jackson and Juan Miranda attended last year.

The injury may mean he starts next year in Trenton rather than Scranton, but if so, not for long. There's still a chance he begins 2010 in Triple-A (with a very outside shot of making the big team out of Spring Training).
