Had this tweeted to me a little while ago, real nice article on the death of Thurman Munson. I was a diehard Yankee fan when I was a kid, and grew up in a very pro-Yankee neighborhood. I can still remember the shock we all felt when we heard the news. When the Yankees took the field the following night and the catcher spot remained empty, that is something I will never forget.
