More trouble for Jim Leyritz
From The Associated Press:
DAVIE, Fla. -- Former major leaguer Jim Leyritz was arrested Thursday in South Florida on charges of domestic battery against his ex-wife, just two months before his trial on a DUI manslaughter charge was set to begin.
Leyritz, 45, was arrested at his home in Davie, a Fort Lauderdale suburb, a police report said. He was being held in the Broward County Jail.

but I heard he was at Yankee Stadium asking former teamates for $$$$$. If that IS true,that is Bananas wit a capital B. (like I just did thank you.)

Another case of a rush to judgement
People never learn.
I read that the police say the ex-wife has already changed her story.
and
His DUI hasn’t even gone to trial yet and there are reports that the woman that tragically died was also allegedly drunk.
What if he’s found not guilty?
Slander is a crime too.

He was drunk
He was driving. Someone died. If the victim was also drunk, she’s just as guilty, but that doesn’t excuse Leyritz.
