Good Morning...rise and shine...just a few questions on 6-24

I will not single out anyone as you can insert your own Yankee jackass right now.

We don’t score runs, we don’t get the 2 out hit anymore, we don’t play good D, when we hit our pitching is bad, when we pitch well or batting is bad, when we get quality starting, our bullpen is bad, when our bullpen is on our starters are bad, we cant throw runners out, we cant steal a base, we cant hit and run, we can hit and run and steal but cant score runs, we were in first, we are now 5 games out, we are now tied with Toronto for second, we are only two games game up on third place Tampa Bay, we hit into two many double plays, we have no game plan, we swing at too many first pitches after a walk, our pitchers walk too many batters, we have weak outfielders, we are too old, we are not coached well, who is our batting coach again, who is our hitting coach again, what is our team salary, why did we build this new stadium and alienate the true fans at games, our seats are too much money, our average ticket price for a home game is the highest in the game, we don’t execute well, we seem to have no plan at the plate, we seem to have no plan on the mound, we loose to teams we should be beating, what was the score of the red sox nationals games last night, oh yes, thanks 11-3, that is what great teams do with not so great teams, we let what manager go a few years who is doing what with some national league west cost team, our manager wears what number on his back, boy do we really mess with our young pitchers, thank god we drafted and have about 15 catchers from the ages of 16-21 in the minors now, whew, cant never have too many of them, our GM has won how many WS’s since he took over, have you heard from Hank or Hal yet?, A-Rod needs how many days off now, our four hitter?, Does Tex regret his signing?, you really think we have plenty of time left, we lost how many games to Boston so far? I said it a few days ago and here comes the rage, doomsday, as some of you say, we are done and over, at best 82-80, its collapsing quick and its going to get worse

Bums, bums, bums, overpaid and out hustled….losers, Jeter should feel embarrassed and disgraced, you’re the captain, set the dam tone, break a water cooler, throw a tantrum, trust me, the players will pick up on this and use as momentum…or Joe, would it hurt to loose the huckleberry, “we got outplayed again” mood, say we stink right now, its an embarrassment to our fans….

The old days, players were paid how they played, managers also, too bad the old days are gone, they don’t feel the pressure and maybe just maybe – stop the extra friggen programming on YES, Yankees on deck, joe g show, Yankee cooking, Yankee talk, Yankee blab bla…how about less YES air time and more practice or more pool, go bowling, sky dive, rock climb, etc...whatever you do to gel as a team...PLAY SOME GOOD BALL AND WIN!

Time for football camp and prepping for fantasy football!

I guess the pie business has been slow lately....how about some crap in the face after a game, maybe that will grab their attention...the player who stinks it up gets a bag of dog crap at theior locker.

I AM OVER AND OUT, ARRIVERDIC MF’R!

Im starting to think this weather

in the Northeast is because of the ‘fair-weather fans’ thinking doomsday is upon us.

82-80 huh…..

If they played this way the rest of the season, then yea.

They aren’t playing this way the whole season tho.

I mean it was just a few short weeks ago

that they WEREN’T….

Thursday calls for nice weather finally…maybe the ‘fair-weather’ fans go away too.

Yo the dog crap line was classic....................

man is it hard right now to think positive. I knew it was bad when Toronto caught up. I agree with every line in your tirade. This really hurts and it really sux to be losing like this. The Babe probably wishes right now he left the game as a member of the Sox, and Thurman probably wished he went to Cleveland. Where is the friggn pride? I was too disgusted to watch the postgame, so I didn’t get to hear Captain Sanderson’s classic line “we just gotta forget about it, and come back 2morrow”…….the cool crap needs to take a backseat NOW. He’s the captain. I can’t wait to hear Francesa blow a gasket over the air 2day. I hate the Mets, but neither NY team scored a run yesterday. Back to the Yanks. What was it 12 runners LOB last night? Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww

by ReggieARodJeter on Jun 24, 2009 12:04 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

thanks

18 total lob and something like 11 or 12 w/ RISP…pussada stuck out 4 times, made a horrible throw to second on a steal, Runners left in scoring position, w/ 2 out – R Cano 2, C Wang 2, N Swisher 3.
a once feared lineup has so many holes right now…

a-rod – “There’s no question [we’re overanxious],” said Alex Rodriguez, who is now in a 1-for-23 skid that dropped his average to .207. “When the team is not hitting, that’s also contagious. Guys want to come out and get the big hit, and hit the ball in the gap and hit home runs. The thing we have to do is just continue to work hard and be patient.”

Doesn’t Long say DONT BE OVERANXIOUS THEN

Jeter – We need to get hits — there’s really no secret formula," Jeter said. “We’ve just got to get guys on base and score some runs, especially early, to help out our pitching staff.”

Yea Jete, you think….wow and I tought there was a secret formula…last I seen you have guys on, STOP GROUNDING INTO DOUBLEPLAYS….

Can Oneill and Cone come out of the Yes booth and play for god sake…where’s Scotty B, Tino…seriously, I would prefer to see them play, maybe Joe behind the plate.

To make matters even funnier, since we need laughs right now…..can you imagine if we did get Manny as it was an idea months ago, right before Tex, I would be swan diving off the stadium right now.

Here it is..........Jeter's line from last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeter: “We’ve Been Scuffling, But We’re Not Concerned” ……….I ‘m gonna go watch Wimbledon now. He must know something we don’t. Maybe we are signing Pujols and Hallady (after the DL stint) after the All-Star break.

what do you want him to do

cry like a dog? Or maybe do what fair weather fans do and preach the doomsday approach?

What else can you do?

by FreeBradshaw on Jun 24, 2009 12:44 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

dude u don't get it............

if u could honestly say it would hurt the team for the captain to take a stance vocally when his own team is in the tank right now, then I don’t know what to tell ya. Fair Weather? Yeah ok. Try Again.

by ReggieARodJeter on Jun 24, 2009 12:57 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

if...

if we had Pujols, Long would have him in 0-2 counts and another DP king…he would be batting .256 and as for Hallady, Magic Man Eiland would incorporate a slurve and he would F’ up his arm and probably add him to the bullpen also…what they should do is extract warrior blood from Oniell and inject all their asses with this, I am sure it can get by the drug testing standards

by Captain Yank on Jun 24, 2009 12:46 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Magic Man Eiland...

your on a roll 2day my man. now if we could just get FreeBradshaw up there to stop being a hater. Point is the team needs to win, that is what we expect. And it doesn’t make sense to classify fans as “fair weather” when the team shouldn’t look like this. I’m not comfortable, you don’t seem to be comfortable, so why should any true Yankee fan be comfortable?

Cold teams look bad

I think this is a good team in a bad period

If I's known I was going to live so long, I'd have taken better care of myself. Casey
