Now this is how things were supposed to go for the New York Yankees this season.

A three-run Alex Rodriguez home run -- on the first pitch he saw. A dominant complete-game from CC Sabathia.

Let's hope this is the start of something good.

Seriously though, loved what I saw tonight- his breaking pitches were just plain filthy. We can only hope this is the start of something good for these guys- it would be to be rolling as the Yanks head into Toronto..

Lets just hope A-rod was motivational boost that we need. With injuries to both catchers and now apparently Mo, the yanks are gonna need A-rod’s bat to carry them through the season. Great start to get them off this slump

CC came up large. Gave the bullpen a rest, let’s see if they can build on it. Still need to get Tex untracked. 3 K’s!!, maybe he needs to sit for a day. let Swisher play 1st, put Melky in RF and give Gardner a start.
