Sorry, but this sounds more like something you'd hear from the Mets. New York Yankees starting pitcher Joba Chamberlain's estranged mother was arrested trying to sell Meth to an undercover cop in her apartment in Nebraska:

It's been a rough week in the Bronx, between the whole A-Rod thing, and now this. The Yankees are making the Mets seem normal.

not really a big deal.
people already knew he came from a broken home. it just makes his story even more impressive—despite a difficult childhood, became a star and is in a position to give back to those who helped him along the way.
