Roger Clemens remains defiant

In case you missed it, Roger Clemens was on ESPN Radio's 'Mike & Mike' show this morning. Once again, Clemens was adamant that he is innocent of all the performance-enhancing drug allegations.

If you missed it, here is the podcast.

I love how

he says that Andy Pettite still “misremembers”.

Really laying it out there

Boy, if he is guilty, he’s really putting out some strong denials. Consider the part where he talks about the heart disease histories in his family (OK, so one example was a STEP-father, but the point is he’s been around it) and how he wouldn’t mess with roids given that history. He COULD just say “No – didn’t do ’em” but instead he colors his denials with anecdotes like what he tells kids about doing it clean. I personally hope he doesn’t end up being the biggest fraud out there, but the more he denies in this one, the more he’s boxing himself in.

Let’s not even talk about how the feds will sharpen their knives even more.

"He COULD just say 'No--didn't do em"

Clemens is too stupid to do the easy way.

Most people know that when someone is lying about what they do, they beat around the bush and come up with all kinds of stuff and try hard as hell to make it believable. Even believable enough so that the fibber themself believe that bullcrap.

The one thing he’s doing is to show how NOT to help yourself when you are accused of this.

In the beginning..

I actually believed him- thinking, if he’s this adamant he MUST be innocent.. but I gotta say, now- there’s just way too much that adds up to his guilt.

And Pettitte’s word is as good to me as any vial or blood test- whether Rog thinks Andy ‘misremembered’ or not!

Guilty as sin

Right…Andy Pettite says Roger took drugs, its a fact. Andy is much more believable that Clemens.

Curious timing...

Sorry, meant unending, not undending.
