New York Yankees' Nick Swisher, left, greets Jorge Posada at home plate after Posada hit a two-run home run against the Los Angeles Angels in the first inning during a baseball game Friday.

It's been a long time since I can remember the Yankees pulling off a rally like they did Friday, scoring 6 runs in the last two innings to erase a 9-4 deficit and defeat the Angels, 10-9.

Awesome!!

Of course it helped that it was Brian Fuentes in the 9th inning for the Angels and not K-Rod.

Another big night for Robinson Cano with three hits, and the first three-hit game of Ramiro Pena's career.

Aside from the starting pitching,

I am starting to like the way this team is playing. Sort of reminds me of the mid 90’s.

if anything the grittyness and persistance ..

and a possibly great rotation, and A SOLID DEFENSIVE first baseman

I slept through

the first two innings, woke up it was 4-0… got busy on other stuff, turned the game back on it 5-4 Angels.. then later I checked again.. it was 9-4… then turned the game back on when it was 2-0 to Jorge in the bottom of the night.. really saw all I needed to..

I was there last night, and saw some fight in these guys… obviously they showed that again tonight. great game, great win.

Pena made up for the poor fielding tonight ...

with that basehit in the bottom of the 8th. Pena needs to stay with the Yanks … let Berroa go down. The kid has some decent pop in that bat, and let him spell Jeter or A-Rod when they need a game off.

that play

seems to be more of a rain field thing than a actual bad fielding thing.

still though, awsome win today. I’m very relieved that we don’t seem to be getting owned by the Angels in every way possible.

first game at the new stadium

couldn’t have picked a better one. Except for the rain. And the middle innings. All’s well that ends well.

comeback!

a unquie quality in a team is never giving up! you may not win every game, but if you dont give up you got a chance to win a lot! this did remind me of some of those 90’s teams, may be we got some magic again! what about cano! can we argue about whos better at second base? or is it too early? i cant stand that runt from boston!

Wow what a win

That was kinda similar to some of those comebacks the 90’s teams had wasn’t it? Great job showing patience in the 9th and making Fuentes work when it was obvious he didn’t have his good stuff. Ramiro Pena should play 3rd- I’ve been thinking that for a while. About Cano and that little annoying runt from Boston….. I think it’s too early to say that Cano is better… the runt did win an MVP. But what a great win that’s the kinda win that can spark a winning streak
