Joe Girardi's Fate

Given some managerial decisions, and recent blown games, I'm wondering about the fate of ole' joe.

I think he could be safe for now, pending a win tomorrow, but if things don't look good and if we're around .500 mid june, he's gone. I love the guy personally, but he's just wound too tight, and he's trying to play it cool like Torre used too. Maybe managing in New York wasn't the right step for him.

Thoughts?Any ideas on replacements?

Donnie Baseball

We should have given the job to Don Mattingly. Torre was grooming him to be his replacement. I mean yeah Giradi did do well in Florida but that was a team that nobody expected anything from. This is the New York Yankees we expected a championship every year. Time to go Joe!

Joe

It’s not his fault. He should not have been given the job to begin with. He’s the type of manager who will do well with younger players but not a team of veterans. We need to find someone else fast. Normally I don’t panic, but FAST!

Joe Girardi's fate.

True, Joe isn’t pitching, hitting or catching but I certainly was hoping for someone with alittle more motivating ability than Joe Torre. For God’s sake motivate, stimulate do something Francona finds ways to keep his team emotionally in the game. It seems all the Yankees do is blow leads and then wither away!. It’s at the point of embarrassment already get someone who can motivate and be creative.

Teams look bad when they lose.

This is not the worst pitching staff in baseball.

A big winning streak is coming, all will be forgiven
