Around SBN: Dissecting Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Left-Center Jet Stream

The porch got shortened in right for their power hitters back in the day....perhaps they did some research and designed that for A-Rod??? The new stadium was construed basically around the same time he joined the team.  Well we have 80 more games to see this year and hopefully they include Melancon in the bullpen because that was atrocious today.  Well here's to 100+ wins this season when everything gets straightened out.

100 wins?

100 wins, you can’t be serios. This team will be lucky to finish at .500 with the atrocious bullpen it has.The front office spent its wad bringing 3 new players to town, but forgot to upgrade the bullpen.

Uh...not really

3 of the 5 losses are on the starters — 1 to CC, 2 to Wang
2 of the losses are on the bullpen

And if anything, the Yanks have more bullpen options than most teams do (in my opinion) and that’s not something they’ve really had in the last few years.

Nevertheless, that’s 80% productivity out of the bullpen. Personally, I can live with that in April. June/July/August — then it would be a problem. And in both bullpen losses, they had to come in starting in the 6th inning with no margin for error (ties or 1 run games). Ideally you want to hand your bullpen a LEAD – and when the Yanks have done that, the bullpen has responded with wins.

I’m still hopeful we see Melancon up this season and that he pitches well enough to stick.

First of all...

I think the hundred wins thing was tongue and cheek…

Second of all— I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again “Bro”:
WHY DON’T YOU JUST STOP WATCHING IF YOU HATE THIS TEAM SO MUCH???

re: Emille’s point -
the jet stream seems to be toward right-center, not left. the balls just zooms that to RC.
