Another home run Sunday for Brett Gardner? Quick, somebody check his locker for PEDs or his butt for needle marks! I know, I know, that's not really funny. But, two home runs for Gardner in less than a week -- even in Spring Training -- is pretty amazing.
- Who dared to make an error Sunday to cause my man Mark Melancon to surrender an unearned run? Whoever it is, send him to Scranton right now!
- Alex Rodriguez was reportedly 'cooperative' in his meeting with MLB officials Sunday. Did he have any other option?
- Nick Swisher aims to "get back to doing the right thing" for the Yankees this season.
- CC, Joba unwind with wild ride at Disney. Who says the Yankees don't know how to have any fun?

Brett Gardner
IMO if Gardner can manage to be consistent at the plate, the job is his. I really like the dimension he adds to the offense with his speed, something I think the team really needs.
Think about the advantage Crawford and Upton give Tampa Bay. That’s a nice asset to have.

Gardner vs. Melky
Let’s say both guys hit .255-.260. I think Gardner’s speed and ability to make consistent contact and draw some walks makes him more valuable. Defensively, they are probably a wash.
