PrintThe Yankees are adding an awful patch to the back of their caps for the entirety of the season.
- Some good news concerning Yankee Stadium: bleachers seats will actually go down in price, from $12 to $5.
The other bit of good news is that there will be screens on the side of the restaurant, so you’ll be able to follow the ball that way once you lose sight of it.
Meanwhile, the bleacher seats will be alcohol free. But you’ll be able to enjoy a frosty beer elsewhere. You just can’t bring it back to your seat. I’m also told that the bleachers will not be closed off from the rest of the park.
This seems like the way to go at the new park, unless of course the obstructed view is so terrible that it turns me off completely.

I think the patch is awesome
