Rotation set

The rotation was set rather early by Joe Girardi. It'll be Sabathia, Wang, Burnett, Pettitte and Joba. The only surprising aspect is Wang in the #2 spot. I believe most of us have assumed it would be Burnett, but Girardi gave good reasoning for Wang: Sabathia, Burnett and Joba are all power pitchers, so breaking the three up with Wang and Pettitte - who are closer to finesse/contact pitchers - makes it tougher on the opposing team in a series.

- Johan Santana was scratched from tomorrow's start due to 'elbow tenderness'. It's too early to jump to any conclusions, but it's something to keep an eye on.

- Arod's 'cousin', Yuri Sucart, was banned from Yankee premises in Tampa. Sucart is a strange looking person; he looks like... let's say a drug dealer. And I bet Nike is thrilled to have their logo on him.
