Goodbye Godzilla
Lost amidst the news regarding Lee, Halladay and others is the loss of Hideki Matsui.
Can the Yankees replace his power? Can they find someone to protect A-Rod in the line up like Godzilla did in the World Series?
Who will provide their teammates with massive amounts of porn?
Matsui was always a professional. Came up with huge hits. And when we needed him most, delivered on the biggest stage like the Yankees greats before him.
I wrote a piece dedicated to the man that brought so many memories during his seven year tenure with the Yankees.

Just wanted to share it with you guys.

game 7 2003
like it or not belonged to Giambi, without those two home runs off Pedro that game would have looked like the 2004 game 7.Nobody remembers, very good stuff on Matsui, wish he would have retired a Yankee but hey Angels may be out of it and we could need a DH at the deadline, anything can happen.
