Yankees looking at Sheets and Duchscherer
It would sure be nice to acquire one of them, but at the price and risk, is it worth it?
FYI, Duchscherer is a Type B free agent while Sheets is unranked. Neither pitched in 2009 due to injuries.

One thing's for sure....
We don’t need any dude with depression history playing for the Yankees…..With our media?…and Our fans?…
Ben Sheets isn’t getting 11 mil from the Yankees….so either he drops that price or we are still looking for a pitchers fellas….

Sheets
Would be a nice addition. I don’t believe he’s going to get $11 million. A deal similar to the one Rich Harden received from Texas seems in line for a pitcher with the injury history Sheets has.

It just seems that if we are spending
money on a reclamation project we should spend the money on our own reclamation project. Heck, we are paying Kei Igawa as much money as we saved by not tendering Wang.
Crowds are won and lost and won again, but our hearts beat for the diehards.

Sheets would be good
low price. low risk. But if he’s healthy, he’s one of the best. Remember he started the All-Star Game for the NL at Yankee Stadium in 2008? He’s a guy I’d be willing to take a risk on.
He Cash, how about that guy named Chien-Ming Wang? BRING HIM BACK!!!!! You’ve got Kei Igawa getting payed millions in the minor leagues, and you can’t pay 3 million to give a former ace, who is still young, in the Bronx? Come on Cashman it’s a no brainer. BRING WANG BACK!!!!!
