Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

Around the Yankee Universe

Chien Ming-Wang was non-tendered, but the Yanks would like to bring him back:

"There's no doubt that we had to make a tough decision," general manager Brian Cashman said. "We are still hopeful that our relationship can continue, but those decisions are yet to be made."

Maybe we can get both Hideki and Johnny back?

what of a hell of a team we will be next year should that happen.

Thank god the Yanks still want Wang back. I hope they work something out.

I sort of hope the Angels land Halladay

They’ve lost Lackey and Figgins, so even with His Royness they’ll be a weaker team this year.

It also means that our prospects will be safe.

That said, if we DID give up Joba & Montero & Melky for Halladay, I’d find a way to rationalize it pretty quickly.

yea...

Since Lackey shut down the Yanks…really, the hell is the difference with Halladay? Him or Lackey will shut down the Yanks, its just one pitcher.

Them not having Aybar, Figgins, Lackey and Joe Saunders?

That’s a weaker team peoples. That’s why you don’t trade the house for one player.

Its one player.

I'm liking all these news

I’m really warming up to the Curtis Granderson Yankee era and even better, 1 more year of Godzilla. Whee!

The Jays really like Saunders that much? I’m a little scared of the teams that made it to the alcs and the ws landing Halladay. If not the Yankees, I hope the Mets pull something off.
