I'll See You At the Parade

I've got a half day from work, so I'll be there.

The New York Yankees parade for 2009 will be held Friday morning, New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg announced after the Yankees wrapped up their 27th World Series championship. Friday's ticker-tape parade will begin on Broadway at Battery Place at 11 AM ET and continue northbound up the Canyon of Heroes to Chamber Street. After that, Mayor Bloomberg will present the Yankees with the keys to the city.

Question

Does anyone know if it’s going to be televised? I know I won’t be able to make it (sucks) and they televised the Giants one last year.

I'm sure it will

I’ll bet all the local stations (2, 4, 7) will have coverage, and possible 5, 11, and NY1.

legacy

I am excited but what ticks my clock is that every damn report has to mention payroll.I thought analysts had to be unbiased. The final four teams had huge payrolls, but only the Yankees get crucified in victory.Damn,I am used to it now I guess.
