we are three outs away people
It’s been a long season, and if the greatest relief pitcher ever gets 3 outs before he gives up 4 runs, every bit of this season will have been worth it.

I will never forget the feeling of 1996. After 9 years the feeling is back. We NEED this one. It’s been a while.
it's sounds ridiculous
but my favorite team of this era is still ‘95. the way they got hot in September and took the Wild Card, Mattingly’s back-to-back shot with Rube in Game 2, etc.
it ended in heartbreaking fashion, but it was a hell of a ride.

Anyone remember
Steve Phillips on ESPN about 30 games into the season. Asked if the Yankees were done he said, “Yes, they are.” Where is he now?

Show the Yankees celebrating, not the Phillies in defeat.
