They did it when the Phils won last year….it’s cool to see athletes at the moment they hit the pinnacle of their professions, acting like little kids again.

I am so happy for Matsui

After all his struggles since Game 3 of the 2004 ALCS. How many ghosts have we dispelled:
- Arod chokes in the post season
- CC can’t pitch in the post season
- Pettitte can’t pitch on three days rest
- Yankees can’t win in the post season
- Yankees can’t win in the post season against anyone but the Twins
- Yankees would choke needing only one game to win

All the nay sayers can go bite me.

A lifelong New Yorker and Yankee fan, I relocated to Tampa, FL for work in early 2001, right after the victorious Subway Series. We know what has happened every year since.

This year, I am in Iraq, and they finally claimed #27…

I’m sorry. :D

Even simulator guy

I wish I had a beer. I am still stuck at work, luckily where I work we have a giant screening room so I got our AV guy to patch ithe game to our HD projector. I was alone in a million dollar theater watching game 6 on a screen the size of most people’s houses.

That's right

You’re west coast. Sounds like a fun place to watch though. I’m with you on Simulator guy. A Million Monkeys Typing theory.

Anyway, it has been a pleasure reading your posts this year, even when I have disagreed with them. We’re family. Shit happens…and then we win!!! See you in the off season…which I guess has officially started.

And I even finally fully forgive Travis and Ed

For not picking the Yankees to win the East. Much love to the guys that run PSA. You guys all do a fantastic job.

Now of course you two will do the right thing next spring and pick our boys for the East I am SURE.

Three letters

Y. E. S. The word, not the Channel. That too. Whatever I’m drunk. YANKEEEES!

Lets follow this all up with 1000 more letters which properly spell out the guttural yell that I let out after Cano threw to Tex.

We need to have the ring ceremony take place with the Red Sox in attendance!

In 2005 the Sux made the Yanks watch them get their rings. It’s time to return the favor!

Just watched a post game interview with Jimmy Rollins

Boy he is real piece of work. He’s all smiles talking about how Andy was nothing special. In Hindsight I guess we have Jimmy to thank, he said if the Phillies were nice it would end in 6. They were really nice.

Marte

Who would have guessed that Damaso Marte would turn into the second coming of Graehm Lloyd, circa the 1996 World Series?
