I feel embarassed for Rivers Cuomo (the frontman for Weezer) in the Band Hero commercial
the rest I couldn’t care less about
Who's the other guy?
Travis is the drummer.
I think someone's gotta send Joe West some Chin Music
its an easy target….
DO WHAT JERRY HAIRSTON DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Umps like Joe West Destroy The Integrity Of The Game
Who is he to try and dictate the outcome of the game? I am so sick of this stuff.
YAY they're getting closer
I looked back at some of the comments and you guys are really upset about the K zone. Is it really that bad?
You can’t see shit from up here so I won’t know.
its not the K-Zone...
its the A-Rod strikeout and not giving Andy the same call.

i wish i could take Cano's ring
if they win it and give it to somebody deserving like Mattingly.

meh...
Cano’s been subject to some bad luck. Mattingly IS bad luck….
DO WHAT JERRY HAIRSTON DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's tough to say Mattingly is bad luck
when he was part of the Yankees during an era of the worst management/player personnel decisions in the franchise’s history.

and Patrick Ewing is bad luck too

I curse Charles Smith and his inability to hit a two foot shot to this day.
And John Starks…grrrrr.
Charles Smith, Boy did he suck in that game
Riley really stuck with his guys. Starks needed to be benched, badly.
JEEZ...
taking it a little too seriously…
Cano deserves a ring just as much as more than a few players on the Yankees.
That is all.
DO WHAT JERRY HAIRSTON DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know, big Mattingly fan though
They all played a part in us getting here, they all deserve their rings. Maybe not Guzman.
Texeira's hitting even worse

Cano’s been hitting some balls well and still playing great D. Tex has been bad but had some huge HR’s and AMAZING D. Oh and they both had great regular seasons, you don’t win the WS if you don’t get there.

congrats NYY on ws champs 2009
I guess this congratulation post is probably going to seem like trolling but I really don’t mean in that sense. The Phillies looked dead tonight and aren’t doing anything offensively.
I said back in game four that the series was over and it is pretty obvious to me that it was after Hamels total collapse… THE total mismanagement of the bullpen by Charlie Manuel with Lidge and the Total utter failure by Ryan Howard to do anything other than strikeout or pop up since game one.
I think the Phillies will be return to the World Series next year because the Phillies have the money to get themselves a good closer another Lee type of Pitcher and hopefully Ryan Howard won’t totally collapse next time.
Again congratulations on a World Series and for my vote the MVP should be Matsui.
Parenthetically— did any of you guys really think that Ryan Howard will play this badly for six games?
REALLY?
