congrats NYY on ws champs 2009
I guess this congratulation post is probably going to seem like trolling but I really don’t mean in that sense. The Phillies looked dead tonight and aren’t doing anything offensively.
I said back in game four that the series was over and it is pretty obvious to me that it was after Hamels total collapse… THE total mismanagement of the bullpen by Charlie Manuel with Lidge and the Total utter failure by Ryan Howard to do anything other than strikeout or pop up since game one.
I think the Phillies will be return to the World Series next year because the Phillies have the money to get themselves a good closer another Lee type of Pitcher and hopefully Ryan Howard won’t totally collapse next time.
Again congratulations on a World Series and for my vote the MVP should be Matsui.
Parenthetically— did any of you guys really think that Ryan Howard will play this badly for six games?
REALLY?
