Really?

I read in the NYTimes, I hear it on the radio, I see it on TV.

Utley should be MVP even if the Yankees win the World Series.

Mo, Jeter, Arod, Damon.

I have every respect for Utley, who has impressed his greatness upon everyone who wasn't paying enough attention before.  But how could that respect mean he's worthy of receiving an MVP award from Joe Girardi?

I think Lee has been more valuable than Utley

Lee’s pitching is what has won the two games.

,,,true, but...

Utley, ok, he has been pretty good with a few homers here and there. Lee, pitched a beautiful first game, as much as I hate to admit it. He did so well he made CC almost look bad and CC did pretty well. But either of them for MVP, especially when they aren’t gonna win the World Series? Cmon, that must be hopeful dreams of Philly fans because no true Yanks fan is gonna say they deserve it over a Yankee.

...I don't have just one man, I have many men, I'm a Yankees fan!...

I really hope they have no vote

cuz ….really?

Damon, A-Rod. CC? Maybe Pettite if he deals today? MO if he goes 2 and shuts shit down?

No, there’s plenty of deserving candidates.

Tip the cap to Utley, great series (you and Lee are the only reasons your team had a chance…) but….absolutely not.

Get out of here…whoever thought that this SHOULD happen SHOULD NOT be sterilized.

I know it has happened before, but I couldn't imagine how awkward it would be

A guy just goes through the heartbreak of losing the WS, and they want him to come accept the MVP award. I really dont think that would be a good moment for baseball, I also dont see any way that is happening either.

Unless someone emerges tonight

Utley is a reasonable candidate. But if A-Rod, Jeter, or Damon has a big hit in another Yankee win then I think it goes to a Yankee.

If the Yankees win this thing tonight Mo will have gone at least two. He would be the MVP.

About Utley

great series, 8 RBIs is great, but he only batted .286. Oh, and he’s not Matsui.
