Arod's Best Stat
You know what stat I find most encouraging about Arod's recovery?
Not his 5.7 WARP3 or .313 EQA (identical to 2008) or his .405 wOBP or his .933 OPS.
14SB with an 87.5% success rating.
That means not only is the hip strong, but Arod feels comfortable and safe pushing that hip.

Shit. I nearly choked on my coffee from laughing when I read this.

I think it is because...
he really believes he has four legs!
And not just any ol’ kind of legs,
HORSES LEGS!

Good to see that the hip is strong
he’s also an excellent baserunner. One of the best in baseball. That doesn’t go away because of a hip injury. His ability to get good jumps and pick good pitches to steal off of is there, regardless of how the hip is. So make sure you take that into account as well.
