Send Coke and is 13.25 ERA back to Sonora
His surrender of two solo shots in the 8th, when your job is just to pitch one inning, made our improbable comeback an impossible comeback.
I agree by switching Tex down in the order. Have him 5th or 6th. When we need clutch hitting its come by Matsui and Posada. Tex has one homer and thats hiw only hiit. He looked horible at that at bat, what a bad time to slump.
Phillies took adventage of A.J. but we scored 5 off of Lee. I'm still very confident for Wednesday. Start Andy on short rest or Gaudin. I'm leaning Andy but I'd like to see Gaudin in long relief if necessary. If our relieft pitching were worth their weight tonight we could have won this game late

Wait a minute...
Coke sure as hell gave up two bad runs late…but AJ put us in a really deep hole to begin with…6 runs. His plan was bad (starting hitters with fastball strikes worked three days ago, but you can only go to the well so many times). Execution was worse. How many walks?
Putting all the blame on Coke is like saying it was that last drink that got me drunk!
Which is what I feel like doing right now!

You do not change the batting order
That is a panic move. You leave things the way they got you here. We need to stop focusing on who to blame and start focusing on how we are going to celebrate a Yankee championship. Most of the posters wanted Gaudin to start thinking it was a throw away game, now everybody is mad we lost.

This post stinks
Gaudin is not starting Game 6. That leaves Andy as the odd man out since CC is getting the ball in Game 7, if it gets to that. If Andy gets in trouble early, I’d rather see Robertson again over Gaudin who hasn’t pitched in forever.
And, NO, you do not move Tex down in the order.

Ah the reactionary fanpost
next time post in all capitals please.
Hopefully this is the last one of the year, as the Yankees will not be losing any more games this season.
This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.

Agree on Coke.
No more Coke for the Yanks.
Yet, why change the lineup? The lineup was not the problem yesterday…never has been either
And LOL at you “leaning” towards Andy Pettite.
Do you seriously thinkg there’s greater than a 0% chance that Chad Fing Gaudin starts game 6 of the WS?

Oh I'm sure Coke will be invited to the celebration...
Tho Giambi’s gone…so I don’t know who’s getting in touch with our connect……(AJ? Swisher? Bruney? Papelbon?)

I have always had a vague suspicion that Swisher does lines off his wife before every game
And just because she was mentioned, here’s a picture.
