World Series Game 5 Overflow 4

"You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock.  You've got to throw the ball over the goddamn plate and give the other man his chance.  That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all."  ~Earl Weaver

Jeter… Right?

I'd feel good if A-Rod gets up

1. He’s the best player in baseball
2. He owns Lidge
3. He’s the best player in baseball
4. That would mean the Yankees have rallied to get to him
5. He’s the best player in baseball
6. Another chance for a clutch hit for Alex
7. HE’S THE BEST PLAYER IN BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope Alex gets up. Although if someone before him does the job with a big homer or something I’m good with that too.

the Thing with Victorino is

IF he had stayed and Fransico had moved to left then Franisco would of caught that ball that ibby got his glove on but could not handle

but Cholly Manuel fucked this up like he did last night with Lidge in a tie game
and now he has to use a Bullpen and NO closer

eh no big deal

basically a throw-away game anyway.

good thing about Andy, is that you know he’ll never shit the bed like A.J. did tonight. he’s not spectacular, but he always gives the Yankees a chance.

This is the best loss ever.

Baker, you fool, its definitely a big deal. The Yankees did a great job in what was looking like a blow out. Even when they’re down they’re still up. This won’t go to 7. Guarantee it.
