Unfortunately when speaking about potential gold glove winners you hear the comments about their defense prefaced with comments about their hitting. Gold Gloves should not have anything to do with how good a hitter a player is but most years if you look most of the Gold Glove winners are also the Silver Slugger winners
A-Rod deserved one
He’s better than Longoria, and if you account for the number of games he played, he’s better than Longoria in every statistical category. And he also had a very clutch season as well. A-Rod got snubbed.
