The piss poor D
on Hamels bunt killed him. It’s a one run game if Andy or Posada fields it properly.

I am correct in thinking that Pettitte is normally a strike-thrower, right?
At least, against the Tigers he normally doesn’t walk a lot of guys.

This has happend the last three we've been in
2001, 2003, now 2009….what the fuck is it? Just the pitching?
by PortlandYankee on Oct 31, 2009 10:17 PM EDT up reply actions
2001 was a miracle that they even survived for 7 games
how many runs did they get. 14? Through 7 games? Pathetic. The Ghosts of Yankee Stadium kept them in that series. 2003 they forgot to hit (and foolishly gave the ball to Jeff Weaver in extra innings). And now, they aren’t facing pitching that good, besides Lee. 2001 was the pitching, but 2003 and right now doesn’t make sense. They’re a better hitting team then this. Why don’t they start showing it?
They’d better score next inning.
if we don't score some runs next inning
I am going to get really fucking angry.

How sad
classy fans out there. Booing their starters off the mound. After he won the World Series and ALCS MVP last year.
One thing I know about Yankees fans at least, is that they don’t boo the guys that help them win. If this group wins a championship, then nobody here will get booed, because they won a championship with this team. I guess Phillies fans don’t think that way.
Yankee fans would boo CC off the hill if he did this....

Jeter’s been boo’d, Mo’s been boo’d.

really?
i don’t remember them ever getting booed. Rivera was given a hard time when he blew the saves to start 2004, but has he really actually gotten booed like that? Or Jeter?
Yeah, Jeter got booed in 2004 when he started 0-32, and Mo got booed when he blew a save.

wow I don't remember Jeter being booed
i remember them giving him a standing ovation when he stepped up to the plate every time because they were behind him, trying to get him going. I honestly don’t remember him every getting booed to be completely honest. Rivera I remember getting a hard time from Yankees fans, but I also never heard him booed as badly as Hamels was there.
those fans at the park r total idiots
not all of them
but those that r booing
