Tip of the hat to the Good Phight

I just wanted to take time out to give the bloggers over at The Good Phight a nod for not being insufferable douchebags, unlike some other Yankee postseason foes' bloggers.  I was just checking out the post game writeup and I thought it was perfect to a tee, even liked the good rib on AJ's "alien-like" visage.  So, while Philly fans may be rabid and have a reputation for unkindness, the Good Phight doens't seem to let their biases take over fully.

Actually,

Most of the SBN blogs are peopled with knowledgeable baseball folks, at least the regulars. The Red Sox – Yankees rivalry brings out the worst in both sides, so I’m not sure I can clearly judge Over the Monster. But I was impressed with Halos Heaven’s even-handed tone, and The Good Phight is definitely where the smart Phillies fans congregate.

Honestly, the only blog I’ve ever scratched my head over a bit was Let’s Go Tribe during the 2007 playoffs. One of their editors was taking potshots at the Yankees, which is okay for the bleacher bums, not necessarily cool for a moderator. But I burned up a nice off-day playing with him. Of course, I haven’t been able to get Let’s Go Tribe off my SBN blog roll in the last 2 years. (Note to SBN technical team.)

You're right

I was thinking of Twinkie Town, or whatever the Twins site is. The ALDS is a distant memory.

+1

That Indians blog is douche town. I couldn’t believe what jerk-opotamuses their editors were.
