how people break out of and get into slumps. A-Rods in a little mini-slump. Still only 2 games. I think he’ll break out and have a big game against Hamels on Halloween.

Howard has done no better than A-Rod. However, A-Rod gets bashed now every time he steps up to the plate, and Howard is just getting bad breaks.

Girardi said he may start a game in the outfield
which I don’t want, but Joe did say it was a possibility. He definitely won’t be starting Game 3 though against the lefty Hamels.
Hopefully this day off was good for Swisher. Maybe him (and A-Rod) can get it going in Phili against Hamels.
