well looks like Phillies watched alot of tape on the Yankees hitters...
or scouting reports are way better than the yankees..

and get Pedro back out on the mound in a hurry.

i always used to think the facial hair rules were pointless...
up until the last few years where people started taking advantage of expressing how big of a d-bag they are
Phillies fans
would argue that their 3-4-5 guys are better. Although I naturally would take our guys over theirs any day.
i honestly think the difference
is Howard is a strikeout liability. but it’s a pretty even matchup.

Good job Jose
from Angel fans
Guys – Jose is good for a random hit or RBI. Don’t get bent out of shape because Jorge’s not in there. He can’t hit during the regular season, but Molinas hit in the playoffs…

Dear Pedro
you are NOT the most influential player to ever step in Yankee Stadium. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!!
didn't he say the media treated him that way?
I was only half-listening, but I thought he was saying that he didn’t understand all the attention, and thought that the media acted like he was the most important guy every to set foot in the stadium.
by long time listener on Oct 29, 2009 9:33 PM EDT up reply actions
dammit we're hitting it hard just not far
a little adjustment and things will come flying out of the stadium
Tex hit it pretty far
both Alex and Damon both just missed it too. They’re on it. They’re getting to him. You can see it by the at bats.
But you’ve got to cross the plate for it to count.
"Have faith in the Yankees, my son. Think of the great DiMaggio."
FOX loves to hate on the Yankees, anything negitive they can bring up they will, Mark Grace is still living in 2001.
2001 is the correct answer
I’d live through two 2004s to have 2001 back.

the umpiring at homeplate was terrible , I notice they stopped showing camera
shots from above and that was wiiiiide strike zone.
They Keep With That World Champion Mark Grace Crap
Like he was really a big part of that team. It was the pitching and Mr Roids Luis Gonzalez.
Alright new ballgame...
AJ !! You didn’t hear that.
Score is still Phils 7, Yanks 0.
Use it.

How long did it take Lee to get to 75? The 8th?
by long time listener on Oct 29, 2009 9:36 PM EDT reply actions
around there
Lee threw 122 pitches last night. They may be pushing it to bring him back on 3 days rest after that.
AJ should be used to pitching in a tie game by now
We always seem to score the inning after he leaves
see its a new game baby...new game..

just because of a rough postseason?
I think Johnny will be back next year. Remember, he had a GREAT season. I want him DHing though. I don’t think I can take his arm in left field for another year.
its gonna be ...........
Damon or Matsui…… i doubt we’ll see both
by Gangsta Yanksta on Oct 29, 2009 9:55 PM EDT up reply actions
Yes, terrible in the postseason
No legs. No arm. We have too many DHs.
by Grasshopper200 on Oct 29, 2009 9:56 PM EDT up reply actions
A month ago I would have kept Damon...
now I’m liking Matsui as a DH more. Matsui is the better clutch hitter and has more pop in his bat. Seems like Damon has worn down over the course of the year, and I’m not digging his outfield play.
Why Would they show
Classless, Numbnuts, tittie neck mudslide face Pedro beating up an old man on TV during the WS???
