I was barking at the TV on Roberston's 4 pitch walk to Jayson Werth.
It's just evidence, and it won't change the outcome of the game. But it makes me feel a little better to see I'm not crazy.

It went both ways.
Lee should have struck out the side in the 9th. But there were a few strikes called ball. So it went both ways.
Officiating has been horrible so far.
Bleed green, or don't bleed at all!

Yup.
There was one batter for the Phils late in the game who took 5 balls, and was called out looking on strikes.

This is why I'm not worried about Robertson
Shafted by the Umps.
And is it just me, or is Werth sneaky big and the most physically intimidating man in that lineup. He looks like a shaved Sasquatch when he’s up there.
Sort of like A-Rod, actually…they just look physically bigger than their teammates (I mean, not Howard, but his physique isn’t exactly intimidating).

Yes you're right,
The ump behind the plate didn’t lose the game but i thought he was all over the place for both sides. Horrible calls behind the plate. We should just use the pitchtrac to call balls and strikes. These guys have really done a horrible job this post season.

That's a terrible idea and about 90% plus of players will agree
Look at when Utley stuck out looking, they were outside, but the umps know what he is trying with his stance so give more leeway on the outer side of the plate

Still...
Utley was the guy I was referencing in my earlier post. He should have been on in four pitches. There’s no good excuse for calling a ball off the plate a strike.

agreed
umps are much more willing to give an outside strike than an inside one, even if the inside pitch would be called a strike to the opposite handed batter. it’s really amazing how much room they give on the outside and not the inside.
PitchTrax is 100% objective, regardless of the handedness of the batter, the amount the catcher has to ‘move’ to catch the ball, and the reputation of the batter and pitcher.

Yeah it was poor calling, and it pry threw Robertson off his game
but it was not the reason the Yankees lost. We have benefited from some close calls (like the Posada walk in the ALCS). The umpiring seemed consistent and now’s not the time to be harping on balls/strike unless they blatantly cost us the game. I don’t want this to turn into HH.

Where’s the pitch tracks on Hughes batters before he started barking at the ump? I’d like to see those.

the ump
was pretty accurate with Hughes (at least according to this website).
