It’s just one game. But it’s frustrating. The Yanks are not going to get a lot off Lee but they need to make him work. He didn’t even break a sweat.

Lee beat Sabathia in the first regular season game at the new Stadium, after the bullpen put the game away and the regular season turned out ok. Well the script will be the same in the WS.

That is a damn good team over there

No shame losing to a masterpiece that Lee pitched. But can Hamels and Pedro match it? Doubtful and I am not sure Lee can pitch on short rest like CC can.

Lee has pitched succesfully on short rest. He won’t pitch THAT well again but he can beat us with much less. We need to find a way to eck out a few runs off him.
