Congratulations to all my fellow Yankee fans! 2009 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPS!!!!!
We're back in it!!!!!! 2009 WORLD SERIES - PHILLIES HERE WE COME!
To the Angels and their fans - great series - hard fought.
Now to it - huge win tonight - allows us to set up our rotation properly. CC is well rested. Game 1 starter for the Phillies is Cliff Lee - and he is FILTHY. They have a very tough line up and they are playing HOT baseball at the moment. I think it's going to be a tough battle.

hopefully their week off from baseball will cool them down

Too long a rest kills momentum.
Remember Colorado in 2007 ? Zoomed all the way to the world series, and then waited 8 days to play Boston and fizzled out in 4 games. MOMENTUM is the key to all sports especially in the playoffs.
Phillies will hurt from their 7 day wait…….YANKEES in 6 games !
