Burnett in the 'Pen??
I think Burnett will be in the pen, if it's a fairly close game.. Our bullpen hasn't been executing recently.
Here's who I expect to see after Andy Pettite. We need Pettite to get deep in the game
Phil Coke - for more than a batter
Alfredo Aceves- Can't rely on Hughes and Joba. after Game 5 performance
Mariano Rivera- Lets get to the WS.
A.J. Burnett/ Phil Hughes/ Joba Chamberlain/ Chad Gaudin- IN extras

Are you serious?
First off…no to Burnett in the pen…
2nd, no Aceves. I think you mean Robertson, cuz Aceves has been just as bad.
And if we can’t rely on Hughes before MO, we’re screwed anyway. Hughes got the Yanks to where they’re at, bring em out there and let em go.

Replace Aceves with Robertson
Aceves hasn’t looked too sharp while David Robertson has been CLUTCH as hell

There was a story reported somewhere on yahoo
Said something on the lines of Burnett skipped his reps or something so that he could possibly be ready out of the bullpen.
Let’s not let it get that far, win in 9.

Giving up on Joba and Hughes
after one bad inning? Great way to maintain confidence.
Ideally:
Pettitte- 6-7 IP
if Andy goes 6, then mix and match in the 7th (Coke, Joba, maybe Robertson)
8th inning- Hughes
9th inning- Mo (and earlier if Hughes gets in trouble.)

Bottom Line ...
If Pettite has a bad start … Crap!
If he has a great dominant start … The offense better go freaking crazy and eliminate the need for bullpen micromanagement.
