Swisher Gets Batting Tips from his Girlfriend..... =(
There are three things in this world everybody seems to like — Italian restaurants, refund checks and Nick Swisher, especially "Gossip Girl" actress Joanna Garcia. She’s dating the 28-year-old Swisher and can be seen at most Yankees home games.
"She understands baseball," Swisher says. "I’ll come home some nights after an oh-fer and she’ll go, ‘Your swing looked a little different tonight, Honey. Maybe your hands didn’t get back early enough?’ So I’m like, dang, maybe I need to start my swing a little earlier?"
(Quote from Rick Reilly's latest piece on Swisher)
Man I really wish Nick didn't take batting advice from someone on "Gossip Girls".
I wish he would consult with Kevin Long instead.

Honestly
I’d be fine with any of them handling my bat.

this explains a lot
Swisher, here’s an idea. instead of getting batting advice from a Joanna Garcia (i always thought she was hot, but that’s off topic), try getting batting advice from, oh i don’t know, the hitting coach since that’s what he’s there for. maybe Alyssa Milano, i mean she’s been a baseball fan all her life and has been with enough major leaguers maybe she had to have picked something up, but not even her before the hitting coach.
