A Note on Unstoppable Forces of Nature and Sample Size
Arod, regular season career (8304AB): .305/.390/.576
Arod, postseason 2009 (27AB): .407/.469/1.000
Arod postseason career (174AB): .299/.388/.563
Arod has to stay hot a little while longer to bring the numbers into line.

It IS good.....
to see Arod really making some great contact. Putting some of those critics out to pasture. WTG Arod…..
I was checking out Bleacher Report and there is a GREAT article (actually two) chronicling the escapades of little ole manny and his taking a shower right after being removed for defensive purposes…..A real “who cares” attitude, my take on the article…..

Sometimes, you just know things are going to happen --
And I knew Alex was going to have a solid postseason. Don’t ask me to explain that.

I also knew A-Rod
was going to have a great postseason because he is Alex freaking Rodriguez. I just knew it.

It was kinda creepy how Joe Buck
Was splooging all over A-Rod and his confidence the second before he cranks a two run shot to left. He should sing Alex’s praises every time he is at bat. I bet when he hit it out McCarver’s sphincter collapsed like a quantum singularity.

Those two get flat-out depressed when the Yanks are doing well. McCarver’s gonna need to make a mini investment in a case of Nyquil if he wants to get any sleep this October.

Yeah. I can’t help feeling that he could do better…

on ESPN radio
one ass-clown tried to say A-Rod’s recent post season success was because he had to admit to steroids thus HUMBLING him and further promoting “team chemistry”. lol sensationalist bullshit. Personally I think it’s because he’s boning kate hudson. I’d post up a +.950 ops too :-)

If I was boning Kate or Minka
I would be relaxed as shit at the plate too. "Hey, if I strike out right here… I will get some sympathy “love” at home tonight".

Play for the other team?
Not that there’s anything wrong with it….

There could be something to it
After all, if his reputation is now tarnished forever, especially in the eyes of the many haters – maybe now he’s just decided ‘screw it, I’ll never change their minds, so I’m just going to play baseball and have fun. And, bone Kate Hudson.’

Sooo….. Can anyone find Tex a Victoria Secret model? Maybe he’ll break out of the slump tomorrow!

he was on a 16 play off game slump...
Before that he was a pretty good post season player….he was bound to snap out of it…god I’m glad he did…..

Interesting note
ARod
Regular Season: .305/.390/.576/.965
Postseason: .299/.388/.563/.951
Mystery Player
Regular Season: .317/.388/.459/.847
Postseason: .310/.379/.481/.860
Mystery player is generally considered one of the best postseason players of all time, despite having an OPS almost .100 points less than ARod, who is generally considered a playoff choke artist (before this season anyway). Mystery player, in case you don’t recognize it, is Derek Jeter. Funny how our perceptions work.
