If the Yanks wrap this up before game 7, how many days off for CC before game 1 of the WS?

by XLII on Oct 20, 2009 11:37 PM EDT reply actions

More than 5

Probably a week. I can see Game 1 of the WS being Wednesday, Baseball seems to like Wednesday starts.

by Branta on Oct 20, 2009 11:37 PM EDT up reply actions

Plenty. He’d pitch game 7 on full rest, so he’d have about a week.

Jesus, I'm embarrassed

I don’t know WTF Rev was thinking.

Me: Angel fan since 78 – saw game 1, 6, & 7 of ’02 series. We had a good team that got a lot of breaks that year. Funny how the team that wins the WS gets a few breaks here and there.

The umps suck and its G-D- awful that 3 of the 4 games have had obvious bad calls. That doesn’t excuse the baserunning and fielding f-ups. Soth ( our nickname for him) has also had multiple brainfarts.

Bottom line, we are getting beat by the better team.

I say we get the next one, and then who knows. I’d much rather be in your shoes but our team has been through a lot and has battled all year.

BTW- Angel fans don’t care? Check the Adenheart memorial out front of the hats…..
