Was at the game

last night and it was unbelievable

God even let us play nine innings without rain

and i've always like jhj, he handles the bat so well.  I was dumbfounded why giriadi didnt pinch hit him earlier for guzman (at bat where guzman swung at three stright pitches looking awful).  Also arod is so clutch.  After his homerun, in which Boboo Abreu almost made a play on at the wall no less, I kept counting the hitters until he got up again, so we could end the game.

Star-divide

One thing that upset me greatly was cano's defense, especially the play in the 13th.  As a middle infielder i know that he should have got behind that ball or at least knocked it down and thrown out the runner.  Everyone always praises him for his defense, but he constantly makes fundamental errors that strain our pitching staff.

And as for the announcing, i thing Gus Johnson should do the games for fox

watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSTKmJ7sMJQ

imagine his call on arods homerun and melky game winning fielder's choice

i dont know that

Cano is ‘constantly making errors’ but he certainly made a couple bad ones Saturday. though Jeter and the Angels did also. the weather has definitely had something to do with it. maybe that facemask he wears obscures his vision…?

The most shocking thing...

About the A-Rod home run was that Abreu actually went to the wall.
