We want to close this one out.
Joba, Hughes, Mo…just blow it buy them for three innings.
So lets manage here
does Joba start the 7th, or does he leave Andy in? I’d leave Andy in, and then have Joba ready to come in. Then Hughes in the 8th, Mo in the ninth.
I say leave him
until a man gets on.

A-Rod
is unbelievable. Where would we be right now without him? Aaron Boone, thank you for beating the Red Sox in 2003 and thank you for hurting yourself in pickup basketball. Otherwise the best in the AL would have gone to the Blow Sux.
I have often said Aaron Boone did two great things for the Yankees
and those were the things I was talking about!
He also was terrible in the WS
how many errors did he make?
he hit a HR in the World Series
but yea, he was pretty bad defensively. And the HR was meaningless since that noname shortstop on the Sox hit a walkoff home run off of Jeff Weaver. Man Weaver was SO BAD!
Speaking of locked in

But Yankees fans don’t have a grudge against anyone but Red Sox fans. And every fan has a grudge against the Yankees.
Jeter may have gotten booed pretty loudly
but I’m willing to bet that A-Rod is really gonna hear it when he comes up in the ninth. More than the rest of the game, since he just owned the Twins again, this time in front of their own fans.
That makes no sense
Jeter should not be booed anywhere i dont give a fuck
it sucks that Damon didn't get to bat
Girardi might be tempted to keep him in but i would really like to see Gardner in CF and Melky in LF

TBS needs to stop sucking off the Twins.
shit is getting annoying
oh hi brian cashman, how are you doing this postseason?
I don't even know what to expect out of A-Rod
I mean, you can’t EXPECT a homer right?
thats not fair to expect a homer
but he just does it so much! I just watch him hit and enjoy it. I’ve never seen a hitter as good as him. The way the ball jumps off his bat is incredible.
All I know
is A-Rod is making up for everything this year. Unbelievable what he’s done. He is the reason the Yankees won game 2 (Tex got the walk off but they would have been down 3-0 without A-Rod.
I don’t know what to expect but I’m grateful for everything he’s done so far.

Well
if Mo finishes this off, then CC is going to have a LONG break between starts. Hope that doesn’t affect him. Although Lackey will have the same problem.
It's probably
good for CC since it’s what he needed to be as good as he was in Game 1. I find it interesting that there’s all this talk about “rest” but don’t these guys still throw everyday to keep their arms loose?

I hope we get a hit before Cano gets up (or I hope Cano gets up and pulls an A-Rod and gets the RISP monkey off his back).
A-Rod can hit w/RISP
he’s been able to do that since 2007. The postseason has been his problem. Cano? RISP is his problem no matter where he is.
Come on Jorge!!!!
I just meant the monkey
different monkeys. I know A-Rod never had a RISP monkey, just a hit in the playoffs monkey, which went to the Red Sox and latched on to all of them.
