Andrew Jones

If the Yanks are still not set on using Cabrera in CF then maybe Andrew Jones might be a solution.

He is an excellent defensive CF with the speed to cover the spacious outfield in the Bronx. You can plug him in the number 7 hole and if he comes back to the hitter he once was, move him up to a 4-5 hitter.

I am not sure what kind of money he would command.

Andruw Jones

I saw Andruw Jones a few times last season. Not only can’t he hit, he doesn’t even get on base. The Yanks would be well advised to stay away from Jones. This definetely isn’t the same player that hit two long home runs in the 1996 WS.

Are you CRAZY?

Andruw Jones is the Sta-Puff Marshmallow man. He’s kinda’ like this generation’s fat Elvis. No thanks. I prefer the slimmer Elvis and the slimmer Andruw.

When was this written?

1999?
