JOBA COULD RETURN NEXT WEEK: Joba Chamberlain is expected to throw BP tomorrow and could be activated as early as next week if he has no setbacks.

According to Joe Girardi, Joba is expected to return to the bullpen as a reliever in order to be "stretched out" as he was back in June during his transition to the starting rotation.

You know what? He actually looked pretty good. Maybe some team desperate for pitching will want to take a chance on him for the last month of the season.
