I'm sitting next to the fat lady ...
and she’s wearing pinstripes. On a fat lady pinstripes are not thinning. They kind of bow out over the thighs, midsection—you get the picture. I’m sick to my stomach looking at this.
Oh, god, now she’s starting to sing … She sounds like my first car … a 1972 Ford Maverick that was painted in Red Sox red. Coincidence?
