Shake up the lineup
It's no secret that the Yankees all of a sudden have problems hitting the ball. I don't think it would be a terrible idea to bat Giambi third in the lineup. He'll have Arod protecting him, ensuring he'll see better pitches and with his plate discipline, he's sure to get walks. Yeah, Abreu has similar discipline, but not to the extent of Giambi. I just think a temporary change would benefit this team. Your thoughts?

I've said
I don’t want to see Melky and Gardner leading off. So that’d work fine.
RF Abreu L
SS Jeter R
1B Giambi L
3B Arod R
DH Posada S
2B Cano L
CF Melky S
C Molina R
LF Gardner L

Abreu leading off?
I agree that changes are needed at this point, however drastic changes could hurt us more. so my lineup would go as follows
Gardner- excellent eye and incredible speed
Jeter
CANO- starting to hit the ball which could result in more runs especially with two fast guys leading off
A-rod
Giambi
Abreu- not hitting so putting him behind giambi and arod could result in better pitches and rbi oppurtunites
Jorge-
Melky
Molina
