What Number will Hughes wear?

I noticed that Marte is now wearing #34 for the Yankees.  Isn't that Phil Hughes number?  I thought there was some sort of etiquite put in place that a major leaguer wouldn't lose his number due to being on the disabled list.  Marte wore 43 as a Pirate, so I don't think he negotiated with Hughes to take 34 did he?  Granted Hughes hasn't secured a major league roster spot and hasn't been around long but I assumed he was a solid Yankee who could keep his number.  Will he go back to 65 or get a new number when he returns?

Hughes will wear #65

He said something about it on his website a few weeks ago.
