Papelbon exposed

Does everyone remember the stink that Red Sox closer Jonathon "Papelbum" made during the All-Star Game festivities about the alleged threats against him and his pregnant wife?

"My wife is pregnant and she's getting her life threatened. It's frigging stupid," Papelbon said during an expletive-laced session with reporters. "I feel like I needed to be in a bullet-proof car."

But Mark Feinsand posted this photo today which clearly shows poor Papelbon taunting Yankee fans with his World Series ring with his wife sitting next to him pointing and laughing.

It doesn't look to me like he and his wife were too worried about their safety and the need to ride in a "bullet-proof car."

In fact, there's no question that Papelbon was indeed the instigator in this photo.

Maybe "Papelbum" is the guy with credibility issues - not the Daily News.
