I know movie reviews are more Pete Abe's thing, so I'll just say that Dark Knight rocked my socks.
But even better than Dark Knight was the trailer for Watchmen.

It was awesome. And I was surprised to see the Watchmen trailer (I had no idea they had a trailer ready). I love the graphic novel; the trailer is right that it’s the most acclaimed of all time. But I’m still really concerned that Snyder’s approach is right for the material. The trailer didn’t reassure me at all.
