How about giving credit to....
The Texas Rangers, Yankees fans never seem to give credit to the other team for playing well, like it or not it’s not always the yankees players who are bad, believe it or not there are other teams in baseball other than the Yankess and some of them can play, the Rangers for instance have the most runs in the AL and are in the top 1 or 2 in many offensive catagories, sure their pitching is crub, but seems to be on the up-swing, if they ever get pitching look out american league., even the Royals and Mariners have a fine game every now and then., how about lets give some credit to the other teams and less blame on the Yanks for a change. would like to hear what Yankees fans have to say, can we let be baseball talk rather than insults, i really would like to hear some debate or your views.

I think you made our point for us
You said yourself that the Rangers’ pitching is horrific and you’re right.
But the problem with this series (and many others) is that the Yanks haven’t been able to come through against mediocre pitching.
The good thing is that they have held the #1 ranked offense in the league to 5 runs in two games. But the bad thing is that they’ve scored just 3 runs in two games.
It’s not meant as an insult to the Rangers, but the Yanks shouldn’t be losing to that team.
i agree with anaconda here. the rangers have scored 463 runs all season, highest in the league and the staff is holding them to only 5 which is amazing. however they have given up 472 and only 3 of those to the yanks, also highest in the league. you cant give credit to the rangers when the yanks have faced 2 awful pitchers they couldnt hit against.
Also agreed
Kevin Millwood had a 5.03 ERA before he faced us. This is supposed to be one of the best lineups in baseball, so while I give a little bit of credit to Millwood, I blame the loss much more on the Yankee batting. This is a pitcher we should have smacked around. Instead, we fail with runners in scoring position, and Abreu pops up ina one out / guy on third situation. In my opinion, we’re losing this series more than the Rangers are winning it.

Okay, we'll give you credit
Wheew, I feel better now.
We still suck. Melky can’t hit, and Joe has his head up his ass.

No doubt the Rangers
offense has been held down by one great veteran pitcher and one future great pitcher, the Rangers have one of the best farm systems in Baseball and some highly touted youngsters are coming to replace the has beens and never will be’s (if Nolan Ryan has any say on it) it’s just a matter of time and barring the Rangers making more stupid trades, they should be pretty good next year and the rest of this season, the Yanks are now starting to develop from within, and will see some excellent results if the Boss does not make bad trades for a rent a player.
Forgot to add
that the Rangers offense has scored more runs off of the so called high ended pitching than any other team in the AL and are the only offense not to have been shut out in the entire league this season, so as i said before if they get pitching look out.
The Rangers are so Great
I’ll give you Joba for Hamilton and Kinsler right now
I bet you would
But the Rangers would not, you must be joking, I mean really, LOl the best 2nd baseman in the Bigs and maybe one of the best overall players anywhere for a guy who will be a flash in the pan pitcher, Not Likely Mate!
Because there’s no debate for two reasons.
1. The Rangers suck and the Yankee offense failed to show up for two games against them. That doesn’t make them great. The Rangers have pitchers that either show up or fail to show up. The pitchers showed when our hitters didn’t. Perfect storm for Ranger fans.
2. Yankee fans don’t care about the Rangers. The AL East is a league of its own. We have a long-standing rivalry with the Boston Red Sox, The TB Rays are surging like nobody’s business and we aren’t thinking about many teams outside the AL East. If we were, the Rangers would not be high atop that list. We’d be talking about the Indians or the Angels. Just because they’ve beaten us in the playoffs and we like to whine about them.
3. New York is a 9 team town. If we weren’t talking about the AL East, the Indians or the Angels, we’d be talking about the Mets.
4. We don’t really deem it worth of debate. See 1-3. But thanks for stopping by to say….
um…what was it?

the yanks are an old
broken down team, with Boss jr. running things you may be going in the right direction trying to grow your own, but this season the Yanks are going to Tank, the Rays and Sox own the East and the Wild card this year….so sorry!
*it's not that I can't count really
I just threw in two more reasons. :)
