Last night marked Mike Mussina's 20th start of the season.
If the schedule plays out the way it's set up (no rain? yeah, right), Mussina will get 13 more starts.
Nothing else has gone the way I expected this season, but Moose has kept our rotation afloat this season and he'll be at the front of any second half charge.
Moose, Joba, Andy, rain, rain.

Season of wrong
Count me as an optimist but I know it’s going to be a difficult trek back to the playoffs…I had hoped that the home-heavy schedule would help the team going into the AS Break. Alas, it didn’t happen that way.
And that odd Road stat is still bothering me: NY has the second best Road Win Percentage in the AL…at .500
But here’s the problem…More games on the road in 2nd half than at home against more teams with strong home records…something’s gotta give.
Still only 5.5 games out, and that’s 4 games better than end of May.
I’d really like to see Hughes or Kennedy make it back and show something (since they’re already diminished in a lot people’s eyes from their poor starts) rather than waiting until ‘09.
Be that as it may…it ain’t over until…well, you know. September 28th.
