- David Robertson has been very impressive in his last three outings (3.0 IP, 0 ER, 0 H, 1 BB, 7 K).
- Sean Gallagher has never faced the Yanks or any of their players. He was 0-4, 5.05 ERA, 1.49 WHIP in 8 games (6 starts) on the road this season with the Chicago Cubs.
- Joba Chamberlain has never faced the Athletics. He is 1-1, 2.81 ERA, 1.42 WHIP in 8 starts since his move to the rotation.
- Athletics' career numbers vs. Chamberlain can be viewed here.

Man if Joba stays healthy...
...he is going to be a force for many many years.

Indeed
Which is why I was so adamant about Joba’s move to the rotation this season no matter how the bullpen pitched without him. Turns out the bullpen has been very good – much better than anyone could have anticipated.

But it would be nice if he got some run support
For the exception of the Pirates game, he hasn’t received much run support at all.

Agreed.
You get that feeling when he pitches a game we are going to win. I like that feeling.

I get the feeling that the Yanks should win that day.
But they are making it extra tough for him because he’s not getting any run support.

Garner
That should have been a single and an E7

It took a very weird hop.
I think they game him the double.

Nice block Posada
Not. Veras choking so far. Nothing drives my crazier than a 1-2 pitch with 2 outs and he throws a strike down the middle for a double and turns a harmless sit into a nightmare

What is that whistle sound?
I mean, the one that plays whenever Edwar strikes somebody out.
