Reports say he is going to be the new hitting coach for the Dogers. I am kinda pissed by this because he has turned his back on this team. He could have had a place with this team. Personally I would love to see him be our 3rd base coach. I can never hate the man but it is a slap in the face. and this is not long enough so here are a few more words.

slap in the face?
the Yankees rejected Mattingly and hired Girardi as manager. i don’t blame him for leaving to go with Torre. i also would love for Mattingly to be back in pinstripes, but i’m not going to hate on him for doing what’s best for him.
unless Donnie went to Boston, or committed a vehicular homicide (cough) Leyritz (cough), i’ll never say anything bad about him. Mattingly is a legend, and he was all the Yankees had when i was a kid.

I would love to have him as thrid base coach hell I would love to have Torre back right now as well.
